SAVE THE DATE for the Fall Clothing Swaps!
How to swap:
- Clean out your closet! GENDER and SIZE INCLUSIVE clothing, shoes, and accessories are welcomed. (That means everything – clean, please!) Think seasonal for fall and winter – Halloween costumes, warm weather gear, etc. (We have the Annual Earth Day Swap in April!)
- Bring items to the Alpine or Eagle Pass Library any time during the swap, or drop off early. Early drop-offs can be left at the Front Desk and will be stored until swap time.
- During the swap window, October 7 through 14, 2026, browse and take “new to you” clothing and accessories.

- You don’t need to BRING items in order to TAKE items.
- SRSU Library clothing swaps are completely free and open to the community.
- We’ll have mirrors, but no “dressing room.”
- Leftovers from SRSU Library clothing swaps are donated locally – but let us know if you have a specific idea for donations.
Why we swap:
A clothing swap normalizes giving clothes a second, third, fourth life before it ends up in the landfill, and promotes the sharing economy, something libraries have been demonstrating for quite a while!
