Session Title:

OER at Texas State University

Session Description:

In this session, Isabelle Antes will describe how she works with faculty to find, remix, and/or write OER materials to provide free learning materials for their students. Building an entire program from scratch, she is working with campus partners to develop an infrastructural framework for Open Education at Texas State.

Speaker(s):

Isabelle Antes is the Open Educational Resources (OER) Librarian at Texas State University. She has earned a BBA in Management from Mays Business School at Texas A&M and an MS in Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.

This initiative is made possible in part by Dr. Jennifer Miller-Ray’s participation in the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s (THECB) OER Fellowship Program, whose vision is “to support mentor relationships for OER use, creation, and capacity building at institutions and statewide.”
