COURSE RESERVES AND TEXTBOOKS

The following information is for current students, staff, and faculty.

If you are not a current student, staff, or faculty, you may be able to access library materials as a Community Borrower or through the TexShare Card program.

COURSE RESERVES

Instructors may place personal materials on Course Reserve so they are accessible to students in the library as additional course readings. Course Reserves are shelved behind the Circulation Desk. Ask there, or search for reserve materials by instructor, course ID, or course name in the library catalog.

Fines and Fees

$0.10 PER HOUR (using a 24-hour clock). Example: If an item due at 9 AM, May 1 is returned at 9 AM, May 2, the fine accrued is $2.40.

TEXTBOOKS

SRSU Librarians regularly collaborate with faculty and staff to make course readings freely accessible to students where possible. Textbooks available for check-out are shelved behind the Front Desk in Alpine and in Eagle Pass, and are available as special circulating check-outs. In most cases, textbooks are available for four hours at a time and must be used in the library.
