TexShare Databases Content Update

TexShare (https://texshare.net/) is a resource-sharing program managed by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) that provides, among other services, affordable access to databases and electronic resources for Texas libraries. Instead of subscribing individually to each database, we pay a membership fee for access to a wide variety of resources at a significantly reduced cost.

This year, TSLAC experienced a major reduction in federal funding. To address this, TSLAC renegotiated vendor contracts and prioritized the most frequently used, high-value resources. As a result, several databases are being cut from the program, with access ending on August 31, 2025.
