(Alpine) Fall Clothing Swap – October 7 through 13
The 3rd Ever Fall Clothing Swap starts Monday, October 7 and runs through Sunday, October 13 when the Bryan Wildenthal Memorial Library is open.
October is Campus Sustainability Month. We also host a swap for Earth Day each April.
Clothing swaps @ SRSU are FREE and OPEN to all!
How to Swap: It’s as easy as 1-2-3!
-
Clean out your closet! GENDER and SIZE INCLUSIVE clothing, shoes, and accessories are welcomed. (That means everything – clean, please!)
-
Drop items as early as tomorrow! Or wait and bring things during the swap window
-
*Early drop-offs can be left at the Front Desk and will be stored until swap time
-
-
During the swap window, October 7-13, browse and take “new to you” clothing and accessories.
Swap leftovers are donated to the SRSU Professional Closet, the SRSU Commencement Closet, and/or local thrift stores.
Why we swap:
Clothing swaps normalize giving clothes a second, third, fourth life before they end up in the landfill. Swaps promote the sharing economy, something libraries have been demonstrating for quite a while!
Get involved:
Do you want to bring your sewing machine to add to the swap this year? Lead a tie-dye workshop? Swap other items like plants? Let me know and we can work something out.
