Library Tips #10: Entertainment and Leisure Reading

2017-05-05T13:18:47+00:00 By |Library Tips|

Make time for leisure reading.

Hey! Academic libraries aren’t just for serious academic research. The SRSU Library offers *free* access to print and digital periodicals, newspapers, bestsellers and visual media, such as DVDs.

Take advantage of a little bit of leisure time — you know, the time between next week and the beginning of Summer I session — to see more of what the Library has to offer via the SRSU Library Orientation Library Guide.

If you’re feeling particularly wild, take advantage of being a member of the Alpine community by joining the Alpine Public Library. (Not in Alpine? Find your local public library here.) And of course, if you’re traveling any part of Texas during the break, you’re going to want to have your TexShare card with you.
