Remote Access Information

Remote access has the same look and feel as on-campus access if you know your Sul Ross email username and password. When you try to access a licensed database off-campus, you will be prompted for this username and password. If you do not know this information, contact the Help Desk at 432-837-8888 or visit LoboPass, where you can change or create a password. If you have questions about the databases, call the Library Information Desk at (432) 837-8272.

How to Place a Hold

You may place a hold request on a library item that is currently checked out. Library staff will contact you when the item is available. Sul Ross students, faculty, and staff will be contacted at their Sul Ross email account. Community borrowers will be contacted at the telephone number located in their library account.

Once the library has contacted you regarding the item's availability, the requested item will be held at the Circulation Desk for 48 hours.
